Guidelines for the opening of resort hotels in 2025

 

We wish you a Happy Season and encourage you to follow the Opening Preparation Instructions that we have prepared for you, in order to have a well-prepared and smoother opening of your hotel.

The Opening Preparation Instructions consist of 3 STEPS, which every resort hotel must complete before its opening this year, and from one NEW SEASON ESSENTIALS FORM to be completed by the Manager of each hotel, which will help us provide you with the personalized support you deserve.

OPENING PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

BHMA 1 > About the interface myDATA

Sending a summary of tax documents to the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) through the platform myDATA required by law and from Greek hotels. The platform myDATA is the Electronic Books platform of the AADE, which concerns all businesses that maintain Accounting Records according to Greek accounting standards. The summaries and the characterization of the documents can be transmitted automatically to the Authority through our applications.

This year, we are also required to connect EFT/POS (Bank POS) to cash systems. Symposium WebPOSWe remind you that when the transaction takes place at the Reception, it is exempt from the interconnection obligation due to its subordination to A.1002.

Protel PMS | SPE / MPE Edition

For the Protel PMS A new version has been created - mainly with internal changes to the document issuance and charting procedures - in order to achieve the collection and automatic sending of all documents, exactly as defined by the AADE.

Ermis PMS | WIN & PRO Editions

For the Hermes PRO and Hermes WIN A new version has also been created – mainly with internal changes to the document issuance and charting procedures – in order to achieve the collection and automatic sending of all documents, exactly as defined by the AADE.

The application's operating system  Ermis PMS | DOS/UNIX Edition does not cover the technical specifications for the hotel's connection to the myDATA platform. The version Ermis PMS | WIN Edition cannot be connected to an electronic invoicing provider. The PRO Edition of Ermis PMS introduces your hotel into the new era of computerization, while maintaining a user-friendly environment.

Symposium WebPOS | Hotel Edition

About cash systems  Symposium WebPOS  and for all types of FHM (after their upgrade), a new version is also available, which connects the WebPOS with the PMS so that the source of the documents (Debits / Own use) is unambiguously determined.

The development of the interconnection of PMS  of the HIT and FHM of the suite Symposium WebPOS with the platform  myDATA the relevant upgraded version of the PMS has also been completed available for free to its customers.

STEP 2 >  About him equipment / hardware

 

💣 We remind you that The EAFDSS have been abolished. and should be replaced if they still exist in the hotel – with an Electronic Invoicing provider or with a new type of Catering ADIME if it is a Catering Department or simple ADIME or FIMAS for other departments.

We check them COMPUTERS in all our departments, the CASHIER, them PRINTER and all the POS TERMINALS that they can be put into operation and do not show any signs or messages of failure.

We check the PDA that they can be connected to the existing network and that their battery can be charged and maintained.

We check that the has been implemented interconnection of our cash registers with e-SEND (for the transmission of Z to the Public Administration Authority) as we are required by Law.

☎️ If your cash registers have not been connected to e-SEND, then you probably need to upgrade to a newer version of Symposium WebPOS and you should contact the POS Support Department as soon as possible to book your appointment for the relevant upgrade.

 

STEP 3 >  About staff

In case you have or plan to hire new staff in key positions and you will need training on the correct use of our applications, please contact via email with the Department of Educational Activities her HIT in studies@hit.com.gr to reserve your slot in time.

In your email, you must indicate which application you are interested in training on and what times and dates suit you, as well as provide us with your contact information (name of person responsible, mobile phone number, contact email).
