OR start of mandatory transmission of documents on the platform myDATA of the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) has now been placed on the 1or July of the current year for documents issued from this date onwards, following the extension granted by a relevant Joint Ministerial Decree on March 13.
Documents issued by businesses during the first half of 2021 must be transmitted to the platform by 31/10/2021.
myDATA (my Digital Accounting & Tax Application) is the AADE Electronic Books platform and the interface with it concerns all businesses that keep accounting records according to Greek accounting standards.
The summaries of the documents can be transmitted automatically to the Authority, either through the programs used by the hotels - provided that they are interconnected with the AADE with a relevant interface - or through the Tax Electronic Mechanisms (FEM), for retail transactions.

For the PMS Our company has created new versions - mainly with internal changes to the document issuance and charting procedures - in order to achieve the collection and automatic sending of all documents, exactly as defined by the AADE.
POS | symPOSium Web POS Hotel Edition
About cash systems symPOSium WebPOS and for all types of FHM (after their upgrade), a new version of the application is available, which connects Web POS with the PMS so that the source of the documents (Debits / Own use) is uniquely determined.
ERP | Hotel Edition
The implementation of the interconnection has been completed. ERP with the myDATA platform. The new version of the application has integrated all the required procedures for purchase documents, as defined for the Buyer. The PMS bridge with the ERP now updates General Accounting and Commercial Management based on a calendar and in full agreement with the AADE.
The upgrade process
In this context, our company has prepared new special editions and Upgrade Services of PMS Protel, ErmisPRO and Ermis WIN Edition so that these applications respond to new data and interface directly with the platform myDATAThese specific services will be implemented by our company's Support Department in collaboration with your hotel, after relevant consultation and acceptance of the cost of the customization work.

OR procedure upgrade includes the following steps:
- Expiration of existing PMS application documents on 30/6/2021
- Creating new documents starting 1/7/2021
- PMS application upgrade with the new FREE version
- Short training of staff in using the new version
- Again PMS “bridge” configuration – accounting application (as long as it exists).
The upgrade schedule is the following:
Steps I. and II. must be performed as soon as possible, steps III. and IV. within June and step V after 1/7/2021.

- Hotel name & management program PMS (Protel / Ermis PRO / Ermis WIN)
- Name of person responsible for the PMS-myDATA connection with whom we will have relevant communication
- Contact telephone number with the person in charge
- Current hotel status (Open or Closed and possible reopening date)
- Acceptance of the implementation of steps I. and II. the PMS upgrade process and her proposal desired date and time of their execution.

The main objective of implementing the hotel's interface with the platform myDATA is the achievement automatic and complete reconciliation of all data in issued documents with electronic books, since any discrepancies of any kind (In principle or Unjustified) may result in an audit by the Public Administration Authority.
For this reason, the HiT SA developed the special auditing application MyHotel DATA™, which performs repeated internal checks and corrects any errors until the hotel's summary of documents is in perfect agreement with the AADE data.
