We are pleased to announce the company's strategic partnership HiT SA with the University of the Aegean and the Department of Tourism Economics and Management (T.O.D.i.T).
With this collaboration, students of the Department will be trained during their academic studies in the use of Protel Hotel Software, a modern and comprehensive computerization program for hotel units and chains, so that they can be equipped with the skills required by their scientific training and professional perspective.
The courses will begin on a pilot basis in the spring semester, while from the next academic year they will be included in the Department's Curriculum.
The newly established Department of Tourism, based in Chios, belongs to an institution with significant international distinctions: the University of the Aegean was found this year in position [151-200] of the ranking of the best Universities founded in the last 50 years around the world (Young University Ranking 2018) of the prestigious British Times Higher Education (THE). It aspires to offer a specialized curriculum that will upgrade the form and content of tourism education in Greece.
Its innovative curriculum includes internationalized academic, educational and research activities as well as various synergies with important tourism stakeholders in the southern and northern Aegean, for the benefit of the Institute's students and the country's development prospects.
